Gardening & Pot Making Workshop

The Sensory Gardening & Pot Making Workshop is a fun, hands-on experience designed for NDIS participants to explore gardening, planting, and pot making in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. Through engaging sensory activities, participants will develop practical gardening skills, build confidence and independence, enhance social connections, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of connecting with nature while creating their own potted plant to take home.

Our Program

Join Verity Support Services for our Sensory Gardening & Pot Making Workshop, a fun and interactive experience designed specifically for NDIS participants. This hands-on workshop encourages participants to connect with nature while developing practical life skills, sensory awareness, creativity, and social confidence in a safe and supportive environment.Participants will enjoy planting their own potted plants, exploring different textures, soils, colours, and natural scents while learning basic gardening skills that can be continued at home. Guided by our experienced support team and Occupational Therapist (OT), this workshop promotes independence, wellbeing, and meaningful community participation.

Welcome & Introduction – 15 minutesHands-on Gardening & Pot Making Activities – 1 hour 15 minutesRefreshment Break – 30 minutesPlant Care Education, Decorating Pots & Group Activities – 1 hourThe workshop has been carefully planned to provide a relaxed pace, allowing participants to enjoy the experience while receiving personalised support throughout the session.

Parking Information

Free parking is available at and around the Verity Support Services Office.Participants are encouraged to arrive approximately 10 minutes early to allow time for parking, registration, and a relaxed start to the workshop.
